Recuperando una cómoda turquesa / TURQUOISE CHEST OF DRAWERS

This chest of drawers is part of a bedroom set from the 50s or 60s, which we found almost by chance during one of our searches. It is a piece which, if it had kept its original state, would be one of the many chests of drawers you would find inside our grandmother's bedrooms; but I saw its turquoise colour which shows in its finish.

I used Annie Sloan paint (Florence colour) as well as wax to finish it.  I cleaned the knobs replacing the missing two with some modern looking ones. I applied gold leaf in order to make it look a little bit like Venetian chests of drawers from the 18th century. I stripped and aged it, and here is the final result, a piece worth having in any corner of the house or in a business (in a shop window or in the hall of any office...).
